Why on God’s green earth is ethanol free fuel not readily available in several octanes by pump? That’s not freedom! $20 per gallon??
That is the Libtard way, get used to it.

I haven't been on here in a few days. Hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July.

I have been busy working in my garage installing new oilite bushings in the carriage rollers on my stump grinder. Those were lots of fun. The rollers are 4" long. They were made from bar stock and never trued up. I had to true up the bores before turning the od's. Then I bored out the old bushings, turned down the new oversize bushings, pressed them in place and bored them out to size. Now I am working on drilling 3/16" grease holes in the new grade 8 bolts to a depth of 2 1/2".

Yesterday was mow the fields and knock down a section of field that I haven't been able to mow since the Fall of 2022. It has been way too wet even for my JD mower to use. While I was doing this I had a nice big doe watching me for at least 30 minutes. I didn't see a fawn with her.

3 bucks would be "cheap" for me, since regular 87 has been running around 3.50. I fueled Wednesday knowing it would go up and gotnit for 3.32.
My dad gets mperks at Meijer we save a dollar per gallon. Usually when it gets under 4$ we will use the mperks to get it for a dollar less

Do your buy like 10gal at a time, I thought the mperks you had a choice of up to 10gal(more if you choose that benefit) at the discounted price.
I typically get mine at a station near the expressway that has a separate tank/pump for it, 90 oct. If there isn't a separate pump then you're still getting ethanol in your fuel.

Found me another load of wood. Separated the splitter stuff from the little stuff before loading this time. That made unloading it all way faster !! I also built two yellow stake pocket wood holder backer deals and I bet we loaded the trailer with easily twice as much wood. Now I just wish it’d all be like the stuff on the truck 😏

Up to 30 gal 🤑. I keep like 60-75 gal on hand and rotate it out after two years if not used. Sometimes it's cheaper to put in car than the current price of regular 😆

Thanks !! What you see is probably around two weeks of wood when it’s cold here. I don’t think there is 2 solid cord on those two trailers and the boiler chews through and average of a cord a week.

The pile is growing as well !! This will be 2025-2026 stuff. The 2024-2025 stuff is mostly cut up and by the boiler or in another shed already waiting to get moved to the boiler pad. The pile looks a lot larger in person. Like a week of cutting for my saw collection and I lol
