Pops harder than red, green that is. That's one of the many reasons I prefer optics with a green "reticle" over red.

I was wondering about that muffler, looks like a single inlet muffler, is there another under the vehicle towards the crossmember.
Looks like a sweet ride regardless, I'd be seen in it.
Got a muffler per a side

My son and daughter-in-law just got some chicken/ livestock guard hounds, pretty dang cute
Nate, my older daughter in NH got two of them a few months ago also, but they are not so small anymore! At about 9 months old they are just under 100 lbs.

She has chickens, ducks and quail. Used to also have turkeys. They sell the duck and quail eggs to restaurants in addition to micro greens.

Yeah sounds like they are going to get pretty big. Pretty good sized now for only being 6 weeks.

That’s great! Sure like the idea of buying local healthy food. My son has 300 layers, and 300 meat chickens once a year. Lots of support for it here.

Speaking of "puppies". Over the last three days we got a single doggie on camera on the 20th, then 2 pics you can't see anything (could be deer too), then yesterday two pics, one with two in it and another with one.
Needless to say, drinking my coffee in the kitchen this morning :drinkingcoffee: .
Got my ACME .17HMR at the ready .
Last picture, 820 last night.

We saw a pretty good-sized dog on one of our trail cameras that does not send the pictures on the phone (have to read the card) and he is in the daylight!

Note: The picture is from 11-07-2024. The date on the trail camera was not set up and is incorrect.

Looks like he just left the groomer too lol.
Got another one that we've seen a few times at my buddies grandma's, he's the one who has the cameras set up here and there.

The coyote is on an old logging road, but you will notice there are NO mature trees in the background. This is part of my property that was hit with the Tornado in 1998.

They are very rare in NY, but this one was very destructive (but mostly just to wooded areas). It took out about 40% of the trees on my 50 acres and did similar damage to my next-door neighbor.

They said it just touched down here and there. What killed it was when it touched down on the Cannonsville Reservoir. Injecting all the water destroyed it. Houses in that area ended up with fish and all sorts of other stuff on their lawns that rained down from the sky when it died.

That's a beauty!
I once watched a fox run and bounce off a stone wall into a tree, then up the tree.. I'm guessing for squirrels.. It was very cool to watch for about 15 minutes, as it didn't pay any attention to me. Never did see a deer that day, but still had a story to tell of the hunt.. That was before cell phone cameras, believe it or not..

I was woods walking in the snow in an area that had been selectively logged. There were deep skidder ruts and ridges in one part of those woods. My route happened to follow fox tracks. When I got to the rutted area I found the fox had walked on the ridge between ruts. That is until it slipped and fell! There was a fox body print in the snow… That was well before cell phones so I don’t have pictures…
