My kids are learning Latin, that's Latin right, or is it Greek .This business apparently doesn’t understand that we are a generation + into the inability of people to read this stuff:

Any chance you have a link.Just a heads up for dewalt tool owners. Lowes is having a buy certain bare dewalt tools get a fee 6 or 8 amp hour battery with it. I was going to get one of those oscillating cutters, something I've been meaning to get for a while. Guy at lowes said it was on promotional sale, but they didn't have the batteries in stock, so I just ordered it online and chose ship to home.(free shipping.)
Which is a great deal, since the battery is $199.99 by itself. Should have it wednesday or Thursday. View attachment 1240885

A week ago there was over 40 inches of snow in my 10 day forecast with biggest single day accumulation up to 25. The first 6-8” storm ended up at maybe 3 as rain entered the picture. The storms for Thursday and Sunday now will be mostly rain. I’m disappointed… I wanted to put my Ariens Platinum SHO snowblower to the test… Last winter was a bust and this year isn’t going much better.Howdy.
We are in a cold spell here where every low for the ten day forecast is below zero as well as several of the daytime highs.
Hope to get outside to do both some yard work and also some smoking/grilling once things warm up.
We finally have somewhat of a normal winter up here! It's almost time to get planting! The kid's 4'6 and there was plenty underneath him in that second pic.We had snow here today. Your sled has more on it than we got.
Same experience as a kid… Our backyard made for a great sledding hill and when we got a bit older the power lines up the road were great. There was a pond in the woods for skating. Forts, sled jumps, and many other “structures” were made from snow. Big snow piles all over the place. Roads were sanded… no salt. There was no such thing as delayed school openings and it took a major storm to close them. Most of the kids at my school walked to school. The sidewalks always seemed to be shoveled… Different from now!We got about 5" overnight and into Super Bowl Sunday morning (thankfully no appointments that day). And, by gosh, you would think it is winter, it is all still here!
The ATV works great with the 5' plow, and I help out some of my neighbors (including a single Mom and a cop who was working OT), but the cable that lifts the plow snapped. It is 10 years old, so I can't complain, but had to go buy some cable clamps and fish the cable out and fix it. Really helped to hold the two pieces of cable together with a vice grip while putting those little clamps on!
We may get a little more snow tonight. It has been a while since snow from a previous storm thwarted where you wanted to plow the snow from this storm!
When I was a kid, and growing up a County South of here, the ground used to stay white from Nov/Dec till March, and folks would speculate if it would all melt by April 1 (which it almost always did). We built snow forts, snow men, and went sleigh riding every year, and all the lakes would be frozen solid. How things have changed.
