G’day all.
Have finally ordered a Walbro carb to replace the old Zama on my Husky 365, should have it here in about a week. When I took the old carb off the other night I noticed they don’t run any gasket between the carb and the air filter intake, or the intake boot (just plastic against metal). Spare parts manual shows nothing there either, so I would like to ask if anyone uses a sealer between these joints?
Thanks for your time and hope your all well.

The rubber boot should seal the carburetor at the intake. The air filter intake should fit tight to the carburetor leaving no gaps. This is perfectly fine!

If you are worried put a bead of gease between the two parts and it will seal very well because the pressure between the two parts is very low and this is why they did not bother putting a seal in the first place.
