Was watching CSI tonight, and Grissum is talking to this tree guy running a chipper about whether a body could go through it.
Thought they made the tree guy look kind-of dumb.
Says Grissum won't find blood, due to wood absorbing water. Point is - most wood chips from tree work are from living limbs, since the pile in the show looked to be from a live tree, not a dead tree.
Hence, wet wood, not dry wood.
