Mike I've cut in rain that was heavy enough to cause the saw to cutout and die, so yes on rainy days you can draw water in. A real sawyer has a spare filter to put on while the cleaned one dries.
 
naa dont get time too service ,sharpen yes, change oil and filters on big stuff yes ..but with bidding and sending all bids to clients in a letter form ..plus doing the actual work ,arangeing staff and equipmant oh also contacting local council for a few hours a week to get permission to work on protected trees..i simply dont get time :mad: micro-business oh what a joy :mad:

i do all my filters in diesel, then sun dry. 5 year old stihls like new.im forever sharpening some thing grinder, saws,chipper i wont work unless there sharp.espesially the chuck n duck
