Hey W_R_M, You can click on the "edit" button and turn off the e-mail notification even after you've posted. Or you can go to "user cp" select edit options, you can turn off e-mail notification as a default yourself and click "submit changes". I just did this myself

Wow, thanks John. Opened the file with just a couple of issues. The graphics are readable but with some text garbled. I really haven't got to put my 357 into any wood yet...I know, I know... did get to buck an allready downed 16" cherry into 12' butt and 24' top sections, w/the top being about 8"and drag it out of the woods and up into the yard. Never done that before, always just bucked to stove length in the woods. Must be a cant thing (from this site) or something. Bucked the top into 10" (cook wood) lengths during the break in. A couple of friends came over last Saturday. Asked me about my new saw. One said yeah, I'm gonna get me one of them 24" Steals... I said hey you wanna see my new saw? I picked that 16" cherry log up with my tractor to waist height and zipped a couple of cookies. , Looked around at them boys and they were just kind of standing there w/nothing to say (unusual for these two). Handed the saw to one and he made a cut and and then asked the 24" steal guy if he wanted to try it and he said he didn't want to get his new pants dirty...whatever. Anyway, I've got 5 drought kilt oaks in one corner of my woods that I was hopeing to fell this morning. Raining sheets as I type. Sorry to drag on, I like your logo on the E-mail. Still waiting on those hats and t-shirts to come out? While I got you on the "e", have you heard anything more on huskys new top handle? Really wanting one of these if they are good. Which acrobat reader are you using. i have 5.0 and works well.
no word on the top handle saw as of yet.
Thats what happens to those steal guys they are afraid if they even touch a Husky they will jump ship LOL.

So Husky has their parts on computer? I know
poulan has parts blowups online, but for current
models only. Hopefully all of them will get with the
21st century[or even the 20th].

Hey Fish, Jonsered, Husky and Sthil all have their full lineup on the service cd's ..ipls..bulletins..and manuEls..hehe...very handy to have...

Hi Fish husky has their own cd parts look up and there is also another company called ARI which has parts smart program and you can buy cd from most manufactures and run it under one program, boy does it work well.

Is it possible for you through your obviously underground shady connections, (thats the real reason you are having a collection of hairy chainsaw enthusiasts - a nice cover by the way - congrgating in your area soon......) to obtain these cd roms on saw servicing?

But the downside would have to be selling the
mowers for Electrolux, and trying to compete with
Sears and Lowes. I knew Stihl was on the brink
of becoming computer compatable, but I have no access
there as well. The dealership quality here is real poor.
I will continue to be a small timer, might go with
Jonsered if Tilton has changed their idiotic ordering policies
and they do not require me to sell the mowers.

Charlie, it didnt take you long to see the real scoop...lol...anyway, I will see what I can do about getting my hands on some CDs...they have a tendancy to not want to give too many to each dealer....I think they were about 60 bucks each when I got them...have to double check though...
