sharpening grinder teeth ???

is there a trick to this ??

i tried to sharpen these teeth twice on green wheels mabey I'm doing something wrong because all i seem to do is chew the wheel up

can anyone give me a suggestion on how to get this done

You should have a grinder with a green wheel on one side and a wheel for grinding the steel on the shank on the other. First try to grind as much of the steel away from the carbide as possible without taking too much off, then use the green wheel to dress the carbide tip up, try to keep the green wheel away from the steel for it will eat the green wheel up. It helps to use a dresser tool on the wheel you grind the steel with to keep the top of the wheel flat for getting closer to the carbide tip. Hope this helps!!!
