After reading Koa`s post I see that shirtless might be OK in FL, HI or other hot climates but not in in my area.

Redentially speaking, non commercial..we show up looking proffesionial with the shirts on. entire crew will meet and greet customer. we get to work. if one of my guys gets hot and wants to work without a shirt, as long as he is working in a proffesional manner, I could care less . Afterall, I want my employees to be as comfortable as can be on a hot summer day and they will perform better. My customers understand its a hot sweaty job and people that work outside have the need to let some heat escape.

My job completion shows off how proffesional we are and operate. My trucks/equipment show how squared away we keep things. My cleanup shows how much we care. Do you honestly think you wont get a job because they saw your crew down the street without a shirt on? Maybe so, but Id rather not work for people like that. Those are the people who wont let you use their bathroom or offer you a drink a water. This is not a fashion show. It's a dirty job and sometimes the sweaty shirtless man has to do it. Be comfortable out there guys. This work is hard enough that you dont have to torture yourself just because someone may percieve you as being unproffesional without a shirt.

shirts

no shirts can raise a red flag when the OSHA inspector drives by, but I suspect the hardhats and harnesses are in the truck with the shirts. At least you can run better in sneakers!
