There are two DR Equipment Factory Direct Stores in CT. Both are to close within the coming two weeks. Some stuff is being discounted big time. I got an American-made shovel that is the holy grail of all shovels. Twenty% off!

We had one of their walk behind trimmers. Worked great as a trimmer, they offered a circular blade attachment and we got it. Worked great cutting down little saplings until the bolt that held the blade in place broke while I was using it. Before I knew what happened the blade shot back into 1 tire, jumped to the other tire and shot out away from the machine some 20 feet. God was watching over me that day, if it hadn't ripped those tires apart it would have shot straight into my feet. That was 8 years ago and to this day I will not use it.

Yeah, I was just wondering. But I thought I remember them saying in one of their old demo videos that they manufactured their equipment there. I've never been there- driven by it but never stopped. They send me stuff in the mail though. Never used one of the field and brush mowers but it could be good for mowing up close to streams which I usually weedwack.
