I trhink you have the right idea as far as cutting the weight down. Problem is there are never exact numberd to work with in this biz!!!

Buckingham, the way I took it, is that it wasn't to be used AT ALL for a block attachment!!!

I know that we all look for the simplest/easiest set ups we can find. But is it really worth the it if things can get compromised???
3/4 whoopie will hold yer block thats why its adjustable there made for blocks you will break the block before the sling you were talking to a secretary

Secretary...don't think so!

Chris Delavery was his name..he was in customer service. Glad you proved me wrong!

Maybe it's time you got a secretary though!!!:bang:

Most of the time, the whoopie sling is what I use to rig my false crotch. I'll also use one to set up my portawrap on smaller trees. I like the fact that it's easily adjustable.

Hey Coydog,

The WLL of rope is usually 1/10 of the MBS, and the WLL of hardware is usually 1/5 of the MBS. Not sure of the block in question but the hardware will probably fail first. Not trying to start anything, just my 2 cents.
