I actually have been trying regular ground full chisel recently for milling, (kinda had no choice as I hit two lag bolts side by side in the center) and I really don't mind the rougher finish as I have a very large planer that can cure that in a hurry! I want better speed in hardwoods. Been doing a helluva lot of white oak lately.
I'm sending "Slingr" some chain tomorrow. I wish I knew what the angles and stops were so that Shaun C. could do it for me locally. Not interested in grinding chain for everyone but we would like to do it right
