Solo 651 RPMs

Howdy Folks,

I ordered one of those Fast Tachs last week and it shoulld be here this week. I was going to tune my neighbors 651 Solo with it. Of course neither of us have any manuals and I could not find them online. Does anyone know what the Max and Idle RPM setting are for this saw?

Mike , my Chain Saw Service Manual has the max no-load engine rpm (with bar and chain installed) must not exceed 13,500 for the 651 model . The idle is for smooth acceleration and just below chain engagement .
