Just to let the Solo fans know. Solo's website now has a PDF parts list ( using Acrobat 5.0 ). So now you can look the parts up online instead of having to look at the manual for your part numbers.

Now all we need are Solo dealers.

I've e-mailed the distributor for my area; seems the same guy that has Dolmar in my locality can also get Solo's. I've been there trying to talk him into ordering me a PS7900 Dolmar, and he balks, although he almost begged me to take an efco 981 for $625, 'cause he has those on the shop floor...

I e-mailed another AS member, Dolmar Tech Rep, and he turned me on to a Makita rep. Seems there are no Dolmar dealers in my area. The Makita rep told me that Makita bought out Dolmar and that Makita has the same saws as Dolmar. He offered to demo a Makita 7901 ( Makita equivalent to the Dolmar 7900 ).

DOLMAR sold thru independent Servicing Dealers makes both the chain saws, and power cutters for makita.
They are seperate companies, even though Makita bought DOLMAR.
