The only salvagable item on the list might be the climbers- without straps or pads. All that old leather needs to be cut up and thrown away so some idiot doesn't try to use it. This fool selling the stuff is asking for a guilt trip when the buyer actually tries to use this stuff and gets injured or killed when it fails.

To be fair , there is a high probability that the bidder doesn't intend to use this stuff for climbing. There are a lot of people who like to hang old tools and gear on the wall for display-some of them prefer the oldest and rattiest they can find. That stuff may be destined for hanging on a rough-paneled wall of a Barbeque joint. (Let's hope!)
