Sound off! What's your 2016 Wood Cutting Resolution?

I'm going to give myself a modest goal of 15 cords.

I would like to get all of the blowdown oak behind my cabin processed.

Buy a 562 and and a hydro.

Add sideboards to my truck and do a little metal repair on my trailer.

Process less wood. Current consumption is 6-7 cord of wood and my goal is to reduce that by 1/3 to 1/2 by getting a more efficient wood stove (BK).

I hope to cut more than I did last year. I just cut wood for a hobby and give all the wood I cut away. 2015 was a slow year for me.

The OSB mill my Dad works at uses about that per day!

Learn to maintain bars and chains even better so I don't cut crooked cuts in big diameter wood. You don't notice it in smaller wood, but once you hit 4-5 footers it's hard to get a precise straight cut. Besides that, just keep on keeping on. I have no specific quantity goal, most of my stacks are still full, and I have mountains to split and stack already. Although I do need to go get a fresh big hickory for cooking wood.

Id like to get up to selling 30 cords next season. Also buy a new 576xp. Cant deciede wether or not to spring for autotune though. Have not heard enough solid info about it on that saw.

She's small and she's holding that nice sized crappie out for the camera so it's a combination. My daughters love to fish and are very good at it.

Always loved fishing with my dad even though we never caught anything. I catch a lot more fish now but its not as much fun.
