Hi folks, the title says it all. I'm trying to locate a bucking spike for my chain saw. I've tried the McCulloch customer service line and they sent me to "Carswell OEI". Neither has it but at least Carswell confirmed the part number I pulled out of my owners manual.
Anyone have any other leads I could try?
Thanks Mark

I used to have one, but it got destroyed by something. I too need one or two of these spikes for my saw.

I'll check my parts boxes. Lot's of new, in the package stuff for that era.

Keep your eye on ebay I just seen a set on there a week or so ago, new. I believe it was randysenginerepair (seller) that had them, you can email him and ask.

I found one that should fit. The part # is 94936. It says "For 600 series saws" The center to center distance of the mounting holes is 3 3/8". Here's a pic of it.

Please contact me if you have the spikes and I will be happy to make arrangements to purchase them.

BTW, according to my owners manual for this saw there are supposed to be two spikes in the kit and both get mounted at the same time. I'm sure one is better than none (like mine now!) but the second spike in the kit isn't a spare.
