Once again Bob and Warren's gtg was a big hit. Perfect weather, sunny 60's big old clouds passing over. Saws were everywhere you looked. Big, small, old, new. Warren handed an auto tune over to me and I was real surprised at how smoothly that 650 (I believe) buzzed through a log.
The format of this gtg was pick a saw and go at it. I for one got more out of this setup. Just read the number of the side of the saw running if it something that gave you an itch ask the runner of the saw more info and maybe take it for a spin yourself. Lot of surprises.
The food was a feast of lasagna, stuffed peppers, chili ( who made that chili, um um good) dogs and more dogs. I was soooo full.
The highlight of the day was watching Cutting Scott rip that maple puppy in half with the 166 and 72" bar.
Moto maniac nice meeting you. Wiemerdog the same. Scott keep up the good work nice line up of saws you got there. Thanks Bob and Warren for the time and the place and the food.

I'll post my pics once I descend back to my cable connection.

So, I'm thinking, "Who did I forget to mention?" and it's none other than my neighbor from up the road. LOL I'm glad you made it down, and could spend more time than if we did it on Saturday. And I gorged myself too; which is the main reason I'm here online and not playing hockey tonight. No point in trying to skate around with all that food in me. BTW, I made the chili, and there's a bunch left, so I'll freeze some of it. The key is to let it simmer all night long. :)

Thanks Spike for hosting a fun day and inviting a great group of folks..who understand the saw junkies of the world!

Hi Light for me:

1) Those two pieces of history..one a Skil 1690 and the other a Canadien 275. Never saw a saw build by that manufacturing concern before..very capable even today.

2) Spike's revenge with his Jonsered 630 laying waste to my little 61...and for the time Spike spent helping motomedik & I understand what its going to take to get our 61's in the same performance league as that Jonsered...

3) The virtual history of Dolmar in real life provided by the CuttinScott crew..and that modded Solo that got everyones attention right NOW when it was screaming thru those logs.

4) Two Jonsereds that might have defined a turning point in weimedog saw interests...that 2186 and again that 630. Nice saws and they look as good as they run.

Many Thanks to Spike and Warren for hosting GTG #2.
A great turnout of Arborsite members and their saws.
Some good food too!
Thanks Leeha for bring that Racket XF. I've been wanting to see that saw for over a year now. Got a few photos of it. I'll post them soon.

I forgot to get a photo of Spike with his new Stihl golf shirt.
