I have a 2260 thats about 8 years old now. I believe one change to the 2265 was the cylinder is slightly larger diameter.
Mine does the 24" stroke in 4 seconds. Id suspect the larger cylinder would be sligjtly slower. I never had an issue with power, but the wood up here is not as knarly as some.
All in all, ill never sell it, its a great piece of equipment.
A log loader would be nice with larger rounds im sure.

Thanks for the reply. From what I understand about hydraulics, I would expect a larger cylinder to be a little slower. I now have a 2265 on order. The videos of the log lifter in use look pretty impressive. The log lifter should also function as a work table when raised up. I’ll post after I have a chance to try the machine out next month.

Hello.
I am looking into buying one as well. The log lift looks great and I believe the cycle time is the same or maybe faster due to a pump upgrade. Could you post your video so we can see the cycle time?

While the 2265 is great, I am also contemplating the 1165V log splitter because it is a vertical log splitter. The upside is a faster cycle time, but it does have a pretty low tonnage. Does anyone have one of these? I am mostly curious if the tonnage is enough.
All of this info and even the pricing is on https://split-fire.com/ which is handy. Only they don't post the exact cycle time on the website.

I've been using the Splitfire 1.5 Hp electric for seven years. Best splitter for me. A log lifter can be added but most of my rounds are small enough to lift up by hand.
I did buy some car stands to place under the axles to bring the splitter up high enough that my back wouldn't hurt. Bad enough being bent over with a chainsaw. Love it, starts every time, no stink, very low noise, change the fluid every few years. Great support locally.
