Hello! These look interesting, the ******* child of a marketing dream, a fiskars x21, and a wooden handle! https://www.fiskars.com/en-gb/gardening/info/norden-axes

Happened to notice that the UK is now getting the super splitting axe range for the first time, called 'solid splitting axes' a11, A19, a26, and these 'norden' axes in addition to the X series.

Are you asking about felling wedges - the typically orange plastic ones like this:



I'd say yes, and at 30" it would make a nice felling ax. I carry this similar Stihl 30" for exactly that purpose:



But, if you are asking about striking a steel splitting wedge, I would not.
