Spur sprocket conversion?

Sure, as long as somebody makes the right clutch drum. Example, you can buy a drum to accept the large spline rims for 3/8" chain to fit Homie S-EZ's, but not the small spline for .325 chain. There are 9-pin rims in .325 large spline, but the S-EZ won't cut well trying pull the chain that fast.
 
Thanks guys, Frank, I'm looking at converting a Solo 633 over to 1/4 pitch for carving/detailing. Baileys nor GB carry a 1/4 sprocket for the saw.
 
As you already have found out,the answer is absolutly you can.

I set my 346 up with rim sprocket.
I dont know why it doesnt come from the factory this way.

My 346 came with a rim sprocket

Mine too. I got mine last February. Before Christmas my Husky dealer was setting one up and I noticed the spur sprocket. He said that's how they were coming now.
