Hey my old guy asked me to post this 1, hes got a small stihl 017 thats giving him problems with no oil coming out onto bar he flushed out tank and took saw appart to pump and cant see anything wrong. I told him to run some gas through it to free up anything that could be clogged in there. Does anybody know what type of pump that is??? Thanks...

Just cut the piano!!
There is a small rotary pump pressed into the saw body from the bottom. Pull the clutch off and inspect the pump drive worm gear.
