Stihl 026 oil pump

Greetings all.

I need to find a replacement Stihl 026 oil pump PN 11216470040 which has been long discontinued. In another thread, one member (Lakeside53) recommended replacing it with PN 1121 6403202. Would anyone know if my original worm (i.e., from the '400 pump) will work with the replacement '3202 pump? Thanks for any guidance.

I have the non-adjustable pump. What is shown in the IPL is the 11216403202 non-adjsutable pump ( plus assocaited worm (ref number 16)).

I have an earlier version pump PN 1121 6470400 which is not shown in the IPL and is very difficult to find (at least for me). That is why I think I need to replace it with the '3202 pump.

I have no PN for the worm for my pump PN 11216470400 so I have no idea whether my existing worm will work with a replacement '3202 pump.

Not sure if worm fits. Might be better with complete new pump.

They sell adj pump kits, if your case has the place for adjustment screw
