Want to Sell Stihl 026

Tore this one down the other day for inspection and clean up.its a tad bit rough visually but just like new on the inside.the cylinder cover, air filter cover and pull starter are near mint as far as scratches go in the plastic.the gas line, impulse and intake boot look brand new. [ the clear plastic on the gas tank is barely discolored.the handle does have a few spider cracks on the foot pad area but arent major.i installed a genuine base gasket since squish was too tight for a delete.my compression gauge shows 180 psi.newly rebuilt walbro wt194.muffler is modified and been derusted and sprayed with vht high heat header paint.it will have a new genuine stihl air filter and will also come with a new stihl .325 .063 16" chain the bar thats included looks rough but is still in great shape.I dressed the edges with my pferd bar file.new ngk plug and german starter rope just installed.saw will be ran in some wood for tuning and testing.$275 shipped in the lower 48.really was wanting to keep this one for my collection to go with the 028's and 024 but im in between checks from my main jobs and have to eat and buy gas to keep operating.

Well just found out this morning that the clutch cover on this saw goes to the 024 I let go on a vehicle trade back early in the spring.026 has side chain adjuster and the 024 has front adjustment.no problem though I adjusted the chain tension and put the clutch cover on..this saw runs great.

If you were just down the road I'd have this 026 in a flat sprint to beat anyone else to it..............great little saws.
