Stihl 028 AV Super, stumbles at WOT.

When doing a pressure/vac test is blocking off the carb inlet and exhaust, and checking through the spark plug all that is needed?

Or do I need to block the spark plug and pull through the carb?

Did a compression test again...160.

Purchased a mityvac and block off plates, first attempt it wouldn't hold. Soaped it up, it was leaking around the plug tightened it up and it held 8psi Vac and pressure for hours. Case appears good.

Installed a carb kit, new fuel filter and hose, (and a new flywheel, managed to break a fin taking mine off). Tried to start it...nothing, would randomly hit and die. Took it back in the shop, pulled the plug no spark...

Realized the switch was grounding it out, adjusted the spring, reassembled and it runs like a champ. Thanks for the input.
