The saw seems to be a good one, I have ran a couple of tank fulls through it and it runs strong and idles well. It has a rim sprocket set up on it, .325. The only thing I noticed out of the ordinary is if you stand the saw on its nose and push down on the bar the idle slows a bit, not everytime but I figure it is probably about due an impulse line and intake boot. The orange covers are stained, I haven't tried them to see if they will clean up. I would prefer to just sell it pho, as the bar and chain are about shot anyway. I need 165 shipped to the lower 48. That's a fair price on a good saw. I had a standard 028 for awhile and loved it. Awesome saw and that's a great price that should make it disappear from here quick.

Wish I had the money. I really like the 028's.a boy gave me an all metal 028 wb tonight for parts.that makes 7 or 8 rebuilders now
I debated hard on whether to keep it or not, I spent many an hour running one years ago and have always liked the 028s and 038s. I just don't really have a need for it. Slowly but surely I am going back to a 2 saw plan.
