BigAir,

I searched for the website that I thought had top end kits for the 028 for around $120, but I can't find it. The best I could find was that site I e-mailed you about where the kits were around $180.

Well I have decided to repair the saw myself and not deal with the credit card chargeback. Purchased the needed parts today. My question is what do you guys use to torque your cylinder bolts. I have a set of torx screwdrivers but no means to apply proper torque. Is there a special tool I will need for this or can you improvise. I have a racheting torque wrench also. Any tricks you can share would be apreciated.

I've never measured the torque when tightening chainsaw cylinder bolts. I just make them tight and use a thin film of gasket sealer on both sides of the gasket to help prevent airleaks.
