Good saw from a good guy. I have personally dealt with him for about 3 years now. Long before he joined AS, we were on another Forum, where he is a highly respected member.

Thanks! I am new here. Bought a 028 Super Wood Boss brand new back in the late 80's. Always pretty much always just had the one saw, but 6 months ago or so figured that maybe technology has improved a little, but the 028 is till running strong. Acutally picked up a 026 pro and ms310 off craigslist locally in Minnesota, but it sounds like the 036, 361 or 362 is the classic saw for my use.

Pretty much just cut firewood, up to about 20 inch birch. My kids and friends think I am nuts for enjoying cutting trees and wood, but it was always the lesser of two evils as a kid with a family cabin in northern Minnesota. It was either that or shovel gravel. Used to be 10 to 12 cords a year when mom and dad heated but now maybe 3 to 4 cords a year at the most.

I have some big saws and the 036 is one of my long time personal favorites.

If no one bought this saw, I was gonna swoop in and grab it this Friday.

Glad it's going to a good home. This saw will own a 20" bar and run a 25" skip tooth as well.
