Want to Buy Stihl 038 magnum fuel tank

Buy a used 38 mag it’s cheaper than repairing yours unless it means something to you. I bought my mag 1 for $200 mag 2 for $300. Both run great no issue, just gotta be patient. There’s one closer to me for sale I think $400 would do it, mag 1 red lever made in Brazil.

We’ve never done it a my shop. I suppose if you knew someone high up on the food chain with Stihl you probably could. They do pop up on eBay from time to time.

Yeah the 038 tanks are no fun to find. I think I need 4 of them now. Think I have every model 038 here now made in Germany or Brazil.

Pretty sure I got one of the last 038 tanks in North America about two years ago. Stihl NW shows NLA or discontinued.
