No, I don't think they should sell for as much as OEM. I usually go by how much money I have in the saw rather than what others are selling for, I have a few saws I won't sell because I have more in them than I could get so I'm gonna try to wear them out. In my opinion the quality of AM parts is getting better, mainly caused by some of the complaints they've gotten in the past and some people here stating how bad their parts are, fuel lines are one example. I still don't use Chinese fuel lines in anything.. Not sure where they are made but I came up with a good compromise on the fuel lines by buying Oregon or Stens, haven't had any trouble with them and they are a bit cheaper than original..
I have AM parts in all my saws I'm not against it. Parts selection and price were my complaints. Ebay is horrible with that. They are tools they get used and stuff breaks.
Anyways if I had extra cash I'd be trying to buy this 038m right now for 250 lol

I love the shape of the 038 and 028 no other match them.

The ole girl cleaned up well and runs like a scalded dog with that new Tilly carb. Gonna run a few ads locally for a week or two then she'll be up for grabs here. I'm considering keeping this 24" bar for my MS390 and putting a 20" on for the sale.

I have muffler modded, base deleted the cylinder gasket and ported the muffler (width only) 1mm either side and the Mag now canes my 372xp in big wood. I don't even begrudge the weight with all its unleashed power..

The 390 is lighter. That's really the only reason. Both run great. I'm only 165lbs and don't cut wood for a living so lighter is better for me.

Yep that 038 is made of tank armour! I have moved on to just a firewood hoarder now and am just over 12 stone. That's why I have my 372 as it is nicer to use. I have attempted to sell my Mag numerous times but I have attachment issues..
