Brad - your first thread lives on! I just finished going through an 041G with the oiler like you have. Some knucklehead before me was using old engine oil instead of bar oil but I'm not sure that's my issue. I checked the line and screen in tank and they were in decent shape.
Pics of my oiler below. Doesn't seem like the gear is worn out. Looking at the canted bottom on it, I'm wondering if there's a certain way to fit this guy in the slot. In other words, is it like a distributor on a V8 and you have to get it lined up right or can you just drop it down and it'll settle in the right spot?
