Hi guys so i got my kill switch to work!
Finally bad ground
Now i am wondering if the 075 needs to be timed. Sometimes it starts fine but other times it acts like it has vapor lock And when i rev it it starts to break up at the top of the top end ( this could be carb adjustment also) and thoughts
If it does need to be timed ( electronic ignition) how do i check and adjust
Thanks
Gary

Carb, crank seals. If electronic ignition is still original, then timing is OK. Try a new and correct spark plug.

Crank seals are new
Replaced the electronic ignition module
Rebuilt carb ( but may need to readjust)

I am also reading that for electronic, breakerless ignitions, the timing is fixed at 2.5mm before TDC and not adjustable.
For Breaker controlled magneto ignitions, it should be set to 1.9-2.1 mm before TDC, The points should be fully open @ TDC and gap of .35-.40mm

Thanks for the response, I actually replaced the spark plug lead the other day
I think i need to ajust the carb again
Found it hard to keep the small screw driver
On the H and L screws they are pretty far inside. I will try adjusting again

You may well have a "limited" cutoff saw ignition. Those sound like they fire every third revolution at rev limit.
