Hello all,
In the passed I have posted a thread asking for help in diagnosing my Stihl. With the help of the members here I was able to address the issue had my old saw running well. At the end of last winter, the same problem of the saw idling ok, but bogging down and stalling when given full throttle returned. A friend of mine suggested it may be the crank bearing seals. I have most of the saw dismantled, but have run into a snag in getting the magneto drum off its spindle. I've searched the web, only to be able to find "flywheel" pullers. My saw has a bolt on flywheel that came off without a problem. Now I'm stumped on how to get the magneto drum off, in order to get at the seals I want to replace.
Does anyone know if there is a special puller I need to remove the drum?
Thanks in advance
