I'm thinking someone is going to see a pretty clean saw and get burnt paying too much on a saw thats on its last leg. That saw has seen some tough times to have the clutch cover all busted up like that. Its obvious they cleaned the crap out of the saw, why not just get a new clutch cover for it? I wouldnt invest anything in that saw.... I feel sorry for the guy that just see's a clean saw and a low price, without really looking at the pics.

Looks clean to me (on the outside). The clutch cover just looks like someone tried to spraypaint it.

I've seen worse looking saws than that one. Some here on this site.

I have seen guys do stuff like that to mark their saws. I could never take a can of Krylon and spray a big green snot of paint on an air filter cover to know the saw was mine. I have seen a guy do it. People do goofy stuff...:crazy1:

Ya on closer inspection it does look like it is also missing a big hunk. I guess it would be too much to ask for some Bondo to go with the snazy paint job :crazy1:
