Rich may be correct, but one thing I noticed on the ONLY heated saw that I have taken apart is that all heating elements were connected in series. This meant that there was a single wire coming from a coil under the flywheel which connected to one of the two wires coming from the carb heater. The other carb heater wire connected to one wire of the intake air heater. The other intake air heater wire connected to one of the two wires of the front handle heater, the other of which connected to one wire of the two rear handle heater wires. The second rear handle heater wire hooked to the heater switch, the other side of which was grounded to the frame. A lot of wires for sure, but they all connected in series, so it was easy to connect them back. Also, it doesn't matter what order they are connected in. Just look at the wire lengths and connector sexes and you should be all set. This is of course if the handle goes with the saw as Rich said. By the way, this saw was a 2171, but I see no reason why any other brand should be different.
