Chainsaw, OK got that out of the way :D

Actually it's a blower, BR400, runs great for the first few minutes then it starts to slow waaay down.
A module would just not work all together when it gets hot wouldn't it? And the carb. wouldn't work right form the get go? What could it be?

I've put a new plug in, screen's been gone, cleaned out the exhaust port, the air filter is clean. I haven't replaced the gas filter yet but did check it and it looked good. I'll replace it and see.
Never adjusted the carb at all, has the plugs in it.
I started to switch the carb out from another blower, when I pulled the gas line off the carb it started shooting gas out, so I thought maybe the gas cap was defective not releasing the pressure, switched it but didn't make a difference. Didn't have time to switch the carbs yet.
Where is the vent on the tank?

Looks won't tell you if a gas filter is gummed up.

When it slows down, open the gas cap just a bit and let it breath, and see if straightens out, if so, its the fuel system vent.

Next take off the muffler and look at the side of the piston and see if you are on the verge of siezure.

Yup still need to replace the gas filter first.
I did take the cap off and it didn't change any, piston looks good also:confused:

fuel line

Be very critical of the fuel line also. Very common problem on trimmers and blowers. Any question at all, replace it.

Don't ever guess on a fuel filter. It will only cause you grief.
