I have a stihl MS 250 chainsaw that I just cleaned and fixed up.
It runs great with no issues whatsoever.
Attached is a photo of it:
What's is worth to sell?
I have a Stihl MS251c that might be a few years younger and has not been used to any extent whatsoever. I doubt I could sell it for much over $230, but I could be wrong. Five years ago I sold a Stihl 025 for $200 and the owner loves it and runs it today.
Well, it's got over $100 of bar and chain on it.
If it looks as good inside as outside should be worth $300.
Or, I would not sell it for less.
Now, if you have no need for a saw you take what you can get.
They sell for about $250 around here, depending on the time of year.
That one looks real nice. If I were selling it I would post it on Facebook Marketplace for $275 and knock the price down $10/week until someone bites.
If you are in a hurry to sell, start at $250.
A nice saw like that with no issues and all oem parts should be worth 300ish and u probably could get in that neighborhood if it is well advertised and you can wait for the right buyer. As others said if a quick sale is important you may have to sell it cheaper .
