I am new to the site but not new to the wood business. My first saw was a Homelite XL12 Super, need I say more. I have two Stihl MS 260 Pro models for sale. My sons and I were in the commercial firewood business for many years and I am liquidating equipment I no longer need. Both saws were bought brand new and they have been used, although they have set idle for the last couple of years. As you can see from the pictures of the bar we used these saws for limbing. Recently, I have gotten them out to make sure they are in good running condition and they are; one pull for the pop, one pull for the start. Both have a 16” bar with a 3/8” pitch, .063 gauge Rapid Micro (semi-chisel) chain. Both saws will be at the Charity Cut going on in Mansfield MO this coming weekend, 04-05-2014, if you wish to try them out. I would like to have $300.00 each, plus shipping. I will ship once funds become available.

I personally have seen these saws and pulled the mufflers on them. P/C are in excellent condition and both run very sweet. These are nice saws.

Thanks for the testimony workshop. You are right they are sweet saws and I hate to part with them but I would rather someone get the use out of them than have them sit in the shop gathering dust. Both saws are rough on the outside, like all of us woodsmen, but on the inside, they are Stihl ready for work. I am willing to negotiate on price, we all have heard yes and no before and it usually does not hurt. Thanks for looking.

I have sold one and have the better of the two left to sell. If you are wanting a good easy starting and good running saw for the money, I have got it. If I still have this saw this fall I will probably put another $50 to $75 on the price.
