Want to Buy stihl ms 310 flywheel

Well did the cardinal sin and tried to get flywheel off without doing rope trick, so you all know the casualty of that. I sheard off the fixed key way that is permanently attached to the flywheel so now I need another flywheel because I am dead in the water for my rebuild, so I figured I would check here first. the 029,039,390,310,290 all will fit I think

I need to add at this point that the key is only to locate the flywheel, not to hold it. You can mark the key location on the tip of the crank. Then mark the location of the flywheel grove on the inside of the flywheel. Line up two marks and tighten down. The conical shape has enough friction to hold it.

I figured the cone shape of the flywheel would tighten down but wasn't sure. I only wish that you would of chimed in earlier because i went and bought another flywheel thinking it was junk. Oh well live and learn
