Did you double check the size bottle they sold you for the gallons you mixed ??
Stihl Platinum is great oil and I have many a customer that mixes 32:1 or more oil with only average smoke

Yep, runs and cuts fine. I'll drain the bar oil and give that a try. Another clue, this saw has leaked chain oil since day one. I have to keep a piece of cardboard under it to keep it from getting oil everywhere.

I bet your saying it leaks by the chain cover ,,,, Its just oil flying off the drive sprocket and dripping off. Many many customers say their saws leak , 99% do only as I just described
