Stihl Ms261 cylinder question

So I have a new to me ms261 it is a model year 2013 with the straight fins on the cylinder on the new 261 they have a slanted fin design on the cylinder for better cooling so can you put the new style cylinder on the older saw

Stihl says no, but possible but will probably have to change a few other parts.
not really cost effectiv.
better to trade for new version

Ok thank you so much for the information probably just stick with the original style because got a great deal on the saw and not many saw people were I’m from to trade with
