Dangerous mission to buy line for the new FS250R today, they still have a 440 for $738 with a 28" Saw feels light, real tip heavy with the 28 which is just fine cuz it's that much lighter for it. No sign of a 441 or Ultra oil yet. Sure buffed the heck out of the yard with the 250R. company is here. though:chainsawguy:

That 250R is a beast.
Funny how everyone is sad to see the 440 go, it has been a great saw but if you run the 441 you will see why it is going to have the same rep as well.

I twll take a Loooooooooooooooooooonnnnnggggg time for the 441 to have the same rep as a 440 though. It's already started on it's own but it's not there yet. :greenchainsaw: :hmm3grin2orange:

True, but it will:cheers:

What will take the place of the 440?

Are they going to let the 441 take over. It is a significant price difference for that one little digit...does anyone know? Why would they discontinue a product that has brought them nothing but notoriety and prestige?

The 441 will take the place of the 440, not sure on the price. I think the epa and it's standards have killed the 440(441 burns cleaner). The 441 has far less vibration also.

I you have a chance to get a 440 you can see here it is a bad azz saw!!:chainsaw:

$30 difference... and blame the EPA and the UK vibration rules.
