What? You mean you have to choose? I'd say at least one of each, two would be better.

Mark
a++++++++ advise
i say buy one of each and then keep adding to the flock as chainsaw sickness courses through your blood:help: :help: :crazy1:

Definitely Husky........
No, wait Stihl.........
well, I don't know maybe Husky..........
No, for sure Stihl..........
Aw, heck give me one of each.

Andy

I have had Stihl's that were "made on Monday" and crap saws also.
YMMV Any good name brand saw will preform if it is made right and properly maintained.

Your just pushing your favorite brand and that ain't right.
I will agree with your first 2 statements,as for #3 you are dead wrong period. My choice is based on my unbiased trials with the brands mentioned.

Yep, you can never get a boat going too fast. Fastest I've ever gone in a boat was 64 mph

Evan

I have a friend for mich. he comes up here in the summer he has a 21 foot triadd with a 2.4 bridgeport it will do 110mph any day of the week and let me tell you 110 on water feels like 200 on land put some sun glasses on and hang the f..k on.

To make my living in the forest I would go with Husky because I like them better and here Husky dealer network is much better than Stihl's (in US probably the other way around)

As a survival machine I would go with Stihl because you not only have a chainsaw, you have a perfect boat anchor, a vacuum cleaner and a dog at the same time ;)

My dog prefers Jonsereds, But I will run anything.

Not sure sure...

I'd go with Husky - that way I get a sewing machine to attract the ladies!

Why not a freezer, fridge, oven, washing machine too ;)
The sewing machine must be the most high tech Husky machine though ... those things has big fat digital displays nowdays and probably some embedded software. Chainsaws aren't really that fance. Looks the same today as for 20 years.

O.K., I'll take those too! My Husky sewing machine has none of the fancy software or digital displays, but has worked great for 24 years (and my wife sews a LOT)!
