.... As to RSC3 replacing RM2, not a moment too soon! At least it will cut...plus not cut up Jon Q. homeowner. Sweet!
I suspect the RSC3 will cut about as the Oregon LP, which cuts about like the LG, RSC and RS.

The small ramp on the driver, directly in front of the raker, does not seem to slow things down much - if at all. The combined size of the ramp and raker is not much larger than the raker alone on the LG, RSC and RS.:chainsaw:

SawTroll; I find the LP despite the guard link actually bores and cuts over the nose better than LG or similar chains. The cutters depth guide does not have the projecting bullet nose and I guess depends on the lower guard link to prevent diving into the wood in the kickback zone. Have not tried the RSC yet but would bet money Stihl did not introduce a chain that is second rate to the Oregon one in the same niche.

Just out of curiosity. When I purchased my new Dolmar, my dealer gave me two full chisel chains, made by GB. Never heard of it before. Says made in the USA and seems to be holding up really well, considering all the dirty lay downs I've been in, while cleaning/clearing a trail. Can anyone shed some light on the GB chain, in comparison to the Stihl and Oregon?
