stihl tach vs. echo pet

I am curious if anyone has experience with the Stihl and Echo tachs. The price in town for the Stihl deluxe tach is $120, and the Echo PET 1100 is $161.00 (1000 is $138). Both are sort of pricey, but is the Echo worth the extra money?

And anyone know where to find a used, or cheaper one?

I have the stihl tach and have been more than happy with it.

the echo is worth the extra money,if your going to use the other tach programs...i use mine in my old John Deere b, as well as my two strokes...other wise buy the Stihl tach
