Stihl XX Timbersports Anniversary bars

Does anyone know what if anything is different about these bars from the ES bars? I asked the Stihl dealer today he just said that they are better and built stronger. Sounds like a sales pitch to me. Are these just regular ES bars with a new badging for the 20th anniversary?

yep - just paint... ES is better then E, but both have the new advertising paint.

Thanks thats all I was looking for. Do they still make the ES bar in normal paint? My dealer wanted almost 10 dollars extra for this new improved bar over the standard es.

My dealer had both of them the anniversity bars and the regular ones. He said their was no difference between the two except the price. I guess if you had a show saw you would pay extra for the "fancier" bar.

yes, you can get the "normal" bar.
