I don't know, maybe he's doing his part by bringing the ladies into range. Maybe I'm just not sealing the deal. But the conversation goes sometihng like this-

Her: "Hey, your puppy is really cute." (She leans in and pets him.)
Me: "Thanks. His name is Pride, and I'm Jeff."
Her: "Wow, does he hunt?"
Me: "Yep, he sure does. I've...."
Her: "Well, I gotta go my boyfriend/husband/some other guy is picking me up
in his Mercedes and he's taking me somewhere to spend vast amounts
of money on me and tell me all kinds of crap to make me feel good
about myself so I'll take off my clothes for him, which I will. You're
poor, and drive a Chevy truck with Mossy Oak camoflauge seat covers
and spend too much time flyfishing, shooting things, and oh, you smell
like timber and two stroke mix."

Well maybe not the last part, but you get the idea....:bang:

Don't worry Alot of woman like that sort of thing. Don't change your life style and one day a woman will find you out. If a woman sets her values in money the man always gets short changed

Actually, a lake vs. pond is defined based on the proliferation and range of submerged vegetation, not by surface area.

To my knowledge at least....

It's much better for property values to call it al Lake than a pond!

We have close to zero submerged vegetation (tanic water)... So.. is that a lake or a pond?

Yep.. If I saw that pic out of context, I'd say a rich woman hired a Russian mercenary to chauffeur the dog around :hmm3grin2orange:

A lake. Someone may know exactly, but I was taught that a pond will have submergent vegetation all the way across it's bottom, whereas a lake won't.

HA! Well it ain't that bad. Normally throughout the week, as I take him to work, he's back in the bed under the canopy. He's got his food and water, rawhide, dog bed and all that. He can spend hours back there, and be fine. But on long drives, or around town running errands, he'll ride up front.
