Stijl 180 running issues

Hi , I have a very little used 180.
Struggling to start it.
Cleaned the carb ( was spotless)
Removed plus and cleaned it.
Getting a good spark.
Removed fuel filter
I can now start it with a struggle now but It wont idle and just stalls.
Is there any adjustments or any other advice please.
This thing is like new just not used much .

try some new fuel and add a little carb cleaner to run through the system

Ok you cleaned carb. How pliable was the metering diaphragm? Float height set correctly?

Not sure on the height but every was like new . This saw would have been lucky to have had 10 hrs use

Update .
Runs on choke, dies the sec u take it off choke so I presume it’s defo a carb issue .

Yup.
Any part whether it's carb internals or fuel lines exposed to fuel starts to deteriorate just sitting

Look at your saw. Does it have a little hole for the carb in the handle? Put a screw driver in there and adjust to good running. Mike

I tried to adjust and it made no difference at all unfortunately.

Those little use saws are harder to keep running than a daily use saw.
Again, some visual inspection. Do replace a fuel hose occasionally. And I don't rebuild those carbs.
Is the motor tight in the case?
Exhaust screen clean?
Piston OK through the exhaust?
Fuel OK using glass jar method?
This is one I would do a vacuum and pressure test on before spending any money.

Yes they don’t seem strong saws.

Any way I did get it going nicely last night with a cheap aftermarket carb.
It will do a turn .
