MY saw is an original from USA. The model 7H does not have plugs on the unused oil tank. The tank is there ...unused and there are no provision for tread tapping on the front or the back of the oil tank for a pump and actually the cast magnesium is not molded to adapt any oil pump device.It is more an extension of the fan assembly to support the gaz tank Also the 7H has a split fan housing screwed by four 5/16 inch "allen" screws and when removed they separate in half the casing to provide installation of the vane fan governor which has the linkage coming out on the right side of engine above the carburator and beside the "tickle primer"..The 4 inner screws that holds the fan housing are not at the same position as the model 7 or 6....so these engines are not interchangeables with the model 7H. Another difference is the Bendix scintilla magneto on the 7H is much smaller compare to a 7 or a 6 which have the big coils and can be interchanged.
I am looking for some pictures of that linkage to reconnect the governor assembly. If someone has the IPL, scanning that part will be helpfull.
Maybe i am asking too much....
