hey guys i know personaly that after 04-05 alot of us bought alot of new equipment and lets face it the last few years have been well lets say not so good moneys tight and big payments suck i have a feeling its not gonna be like before

You need multi county storms to have any effect on the supply and demand. Then you need to get in there right away to help those most in need. "Storm Recovery" has become a sub-industry with so many players that it is not as lucrative as it was pre-Katrina.

I've met a number of other companies that bought equipment with big loans (or lease) assuming that a storm would pay it off. Counting chickens prior to hatch, maybe.

I've met some who bought the equipment, then sold it after the show ended because the figured the large depreciation into the numbers and still came out ahead.

:agree2: fla is bad now four work a storm may help a little but not to much need a new pres can you find one tom trees st pete beach fla

may be they could get a bail out government program for all those poor people who can not keep their tools working. Someone in my area was talking about buying a crane after the last big storm. Everyone with a saw and truck is a tree service now. Look in the yellow pages, tons of new guys. Good luck and keep wishing for a big storm to mess up peoples property so you can work. Get some! Wish in one hand...

Watched the DNC over the last few nights and just needed to vent a little. Sorry.

What language do you speak? I can never quite make out what it is you are trying to say.

i think he is saying that he is on vacation in florida and he couldnt help but notice that there is on over abundance of tree companies versus the amount of money willing to be spent on the trees.

knowing that i think he also said a storm might produce some work but also a new president might help wake up the economy.

i dont know, it was a guess. lol

Hey now...leave ol tom trees alone. He's a genius in his own right....every community has to have at least one simple genius that pops in now and then seldom understood, but sound nonetheless. :)
